KAYLA CRADDOCK, ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Since 2015, Ms. Kayla has been a driving creative force behind Purpose Revealed NFP. Starting as a freelance artist and growing into her role as Artistic Director, her journey is a testament to her dedication, vision, and belief in the power of the arts to transform lives.

Ms. Kayla’s influence extends far beyond PR’s stage. Her artistic leadership has helped shape programs for community partners such as Longwood Charter, Calumet School District, and numerous Chicago Public Schools, bringing high-quality, meaningful arts experiences to youth across the city.

With a deep commitment to Purpose Revealed’s mission, Ms. Kayla continues to mirror the brilliance she sees in her students—nurturing creativity, confidence, and excellence in every performance, class, and collaboration.

LaToya Smiter, Residential Therapist

Smiter is a passionate Residential Therapist dedicated to mental and emotional healing through a trauma-informed lens. With a growing academic background—currently pursuing her Doctorate in Psychology—Smiter also holds a Bachelor of Science in Education, Master of Psychology, Master of Education, and a Master Certificate in Mental Health & Wellness.

Beyond her clinical work, LaToya is a published author and the host of a poetry podcast, using creative expression as a tool for healing and self-discovery.

Rooted in the belief that “your childhood greatly shapes who you become,” she emphasizes the lasting impact early experiences have on adult life. LaToya often shares:

“Childhood trauma isn’t an excuse—it’s an explanation.”

With empathy, expertise, and authenticity, LaToya Smiter continues to empower others to process their past and thrive in their present.

rOCHERR lANDRUM, PROGRAM MANAGER

As Program Manager at Purpose Revealed NFP, Landrum brings a powerful blend of creativity, compassion, and strategic leadership to every initiative she leads. With a certificate in Mental Wellness with an emphasis on Family Dynamics, she is deeply committed to supporting the emotional, mental, and social well-being of youth and families.

Since joining PR, Landrum has played a key role in developing and managing impactful programming both within the organization and in partnership with other community institutions. Her leadership has been instrumental in launching programs that address real-life challenges and promote personal growth.

Among her notable achievements, Landrum led a summer camp in partnership with Sylvan Learning Center, serving over 200 youth with programming that combined academic support, the arts, and social-emotional learning. She also created Caterpillar Conversations, a unique initiative that offers safe spaces for open dialogue—allowing youth and adults to express emotional needs, share their experiences, and receive guidance for navigating life’s transitions.

Landrum’s dedication to family-focused, wellness-driven programming continues to shape the culture of Purpose Revealed, ensuring every participant is seen, heard, and supported.
